very poor sound system
I am a huge Cheryl Crow fan and own every album she has ever made. The music seemed louder than the voices, and the voices had so much bass it was dull and a lot of the words were not recognizable. If I didn't already know the words to her songs I wouldn't have known what she was singing. The sound system was a big disappointment as the voices were drowned out. Let me first say that I was very excited to go to this concert and relive my youth through their songs. Love the artists, hated the sound system for the concert - very disappointed. Cheryl Crow was even worse as her voice was lower pitched and with the amount of bass that they had through the small sound system (2 small rows of speakers suspended from the ceiling on either side of the stage) I could not understand most of what she was singing. The sound engineer did a bad job of mixing the vocals and adjusting the tone of the voices. Our seats were in section 102 row 13 which was not that far from the stage and maybe the sound system seemed to be adjusted for those sitting on the floor and not for the rest of us in the first and second levels of the stadium.
